Holy Terror Farm is an experiment in motion of Colorado eco-agriculure, showcasing different types of potential agricultural styles from city-scaled gardens to larger concepts such as self-sufficiency in grains and legumes. The farm is growing over 200 varieties of specialty crop fruits and 300 varieties of heirloom vegetables, including rare items such as pecans, almonds, figs, paw paws, persimmons, wheat, oats, quinoa, cranberries, pinto beans and 50 varieties of heirloom tomatoes. The farm's rotational pasture grazing of pigs, chickens and cows, along with compost tea, naturally controls pathogens in the orchards and gardens without any chemicals or GMO's.

The Living Farm is a multi-faceted farm focusing not only on vegetables and animal husbandry but also passing on the skills of farming to the next generation.  We employ a mixture of both traditional and contemporary techniques to cultivate and nurture the plants and animals that feed our bodies and encapsulates our minds.

The Living Farm - 12506 Crawford Rd., Paonia

A small farm focused on high quality animal care.  Emily Hartnett raises dairy goats, heritage breed laying hens, lambs, and turkeys and maintain a 7 acre apple and pear orchard. All animals are given plenty of space to happily forage and run, and are fed locally and organically grown grains.  The farm sits up on Garvin Mesa offering beautiful views of the whole valley below and the surrounding mountain ranges.
